All good things must come to an end

Okay that was a dramatic title, but please read on.

After (almost) 6 years, Ben and I have packed up and left London.

You see – despite what Samuel Johnson said; when a man is tired of London, he isn’t tired of life.
He’s just looking to enjoy the other aspects of it.

The more affordable ones, found in the slow lane, amongst sleepy village streets, and short distances to the homes of friends and family.

We’re swapping out crowded tubes and busy streets for muddy walks and fresh air.
Exchanging city skyline views and endless siren sounds for the rustling of trees and wildlife on the River Tees.
We’re brushing up on our swaddling and nappy changing skills as we countdown the days until we’re auntie Sabrina and uncle Ben.

There’s a lot of mixed emotions but above all, we’re excited to settle into the next chapter.
The one that’s still to be written.

One filled with new adventures, exploring new pubs in new cities, and reconnecting with old friends and hopefully making new ones, too.
